Ruby run 121025

 

I have never been paid 50p to join the run but Cliff explained we had to pay to park at the lunch stop so the £2 sign on fee waived and the 50p given paid for the parking fee. 8 riders plus 2 well wishers saw chairman Cliff’s Ruby, ( yes it’s Devons cows ), set off today with Cliff in the lead and John and I bringing up the rear, course being chairman meant he had all the right contacts to give us great weather. We were lead back through Winkleigh towards Monkokehampton and then on towards our lunch stop at the upper Tamar lakes via strictly’s slow, slow quick quick slow route!. We could have called the run ‘ the worthy run ‘ since we seemed to pass through or close to villages ending in ‘ worthy ‘. The afternoon saw us head towards Bideford before changing course to the end at Torrington common.

Now our AGM is Oct 23rd so come along and help us keep the club on track. Next run is November 2nd from the Riverside caravan park, this is Ian’s coddiwomple run.
