An impressively diverse array of machines arrived at South Molton with some dripping wet riders for the start of the Autumn Coddiwomple, our final run of the year. Ian S led us out onto some very soggy Exmoor lanes where a mechanical stoppage with back-marker Cliff, followed by my lapse in drop-off protocol split the group. My apologies go to Ian B and Andy. We eventually regrouped to dry off and lunch at Hunter’s Inn, unfortunately by then minus Ian and Andy. Many thanks to Ian for leading us in what were at times some fairly tricky conditions, all good character building stuff with lessons learnt by yours truly.
